Tsinghua Research Group Visits SEER Robotics Twice, Praising the "Strongest Robot Brain"
Recently, the Tsinghua University's undergraduate, master's, and doctoral research group visited SEER Robotics' Shanghai headquarters twice within two weeks for in-depth academic exchanges. SEER Robotics was not only the only enterprise in the field of artificial intelligence and robotics visited by the Tsinghua research group in Shanghai, but also their first stop. During the visit, the students engaged in multiple substantive and inspiring discussions with SEER Robotics' founding team on industry trends, technological breakthroughs, and personal development.

At the beginning of the event, Zhao Yue, Co-founder and CEO of SEER Robotics, provided a comprehensive introduction in the first-floor exhibition hall to the achievements of SEER Robotics' platform-based development and its one-stop solutions across 20+ industries, including automotive, 3C, new energy, and engineering machinery. Through dynamic demonstrations of various robots and interactive 3D software experiences, the practical application of robotics technology in real-world scenarios was vividly showcased, giving the students an intuitive understanding of frontline industry practices.

In the subsequent in-depth exchange session, SEER Robotics' co-founding team and the students engaged in multiple rounds of intellectual collisions on topics such as the evolution of the global robotics industry, the industrial value chain, and its widespread applications in smart manufacturing across various sectors.
Addressing the core question of why SEER Robotics is building a robotics platform, Zhao Yue shared that the company's open platform strategy stems from a profound insight into the core pain points of the robotics industry and a strategic decision. "We believe that the true prosperity of the industry cannot rely solely on a few all-encompassing companies providing closed solutions. Instead, it must activate the broadest possible innovative forces."
Unlike traditional models that define entire machines as products, SEER Robotics defines "controllers and the supply chain" as standard products, creating a stable, reliable, feature-rich, and user-friendly open platform. This provides the industry with a solid infrastructure, enabling developers to avoid starting from scratch with underlying technologies and instead focus more on scenario innovation and integrated applications in their areas of expertise. This approach truly makes the development, acquisition, and use of intelligent robots barrier-free.
Regarding the new challenges posed by large AI models for robotics, Zhao Yue further elaborated on the multi-layered safety system built by SEER Robotics. He pointed out that the fundamental difference between robots and pure AI agents lies in the unpredictability of the physical world, making safety and reliability the highest priorities. SEER Robotics ensures data credibility through heterogeneous dual-computation
verification and employs traditional control systems as a backend verification mechanism for AI decisions, guaranteeing the safe operation of robots in dynamic environments.
When sharing their entrepreneurial journey, the three co-founders recalled their path, from university competitions to winning three world championships, and from responding to market demands to gradually clarifying the company's positioning. Finally, they advised the students that in today's era of rapid technological iteration, besides solidifying their professional foundations, they should focus on cultivating the ability to "ask the right questions and integrate AI into their knowledge systems." This, they emphasized, will be key to navigating the future. They also encouraged everyone to pay attention to innovative enterprises with core technological barriers and to integrate personal growth into the trajectory of industrial development.

Through a series of exchanges, both sides reached a preliminary consensus on launching a "targeted internship program," aimed at enabling students to immerse themselves in the frontline of the industry and bridge theory with practice. This also marks another substantive step in the collaboration between SEER Robotics and top universities in industry-academia-research integration.
The two visits by the students were not only a convergence of academic frontiers and industrial practices but also an important window for SEER Robotics to showcase its technological strength and open ecosystem. In the future, SEER Robotics will continue to promote technological innovation, deepen the integration of industry and academia, and explore new paths and possibilities for robotics technology development alongside global young talents.
